Claire Liégent isolates rose oxide and freezes the rest of the bouquet out. What you wear is a flower with the singing scraped off it. Brazilian pink pepper bites cold in the first breath, then a cellophane accord crinkles against it, glassy. Peruvian ambrette stiffens in like cotton pulled off a winter line. Beneath the rose, the lychee stays chilled the way a steel counter keeps the cold of a room before anyone enters it at seven. By mid-morning the flower has not loosened a petal. Haitian vetiver and ambroxan glaze a thin chrome wire under all of it, and the rose keeps its angle without one warm minute. Wear it on a station platform where the light goes flat and northern.

You will take it to the flower market before the city wakes, into the refrigerated hall where roses are graded under white light. Buyers drift between trestle tables; every stem is sleeved in plastic; the air smells of cold water rather than perfume. You fit there. On your skin the rose reads exact and unsentimental, a specimen labelled rather than a bouquet given, and when you step back onto the street the lychee trails after you, clean as a printed receipt.

Frequently asked questions

The juice, the glass, the transit. Every answer is a fact.

The concentration is 20% in alcohol at 78% vol. We add no water and no fillers. What hits your skin is the formula and nothing else.

Every formula macerates six to ten weeks at minimum. Some need six months, so they get six months. We skip aggressive filtration and reckless stabilisation: the juice keeps its body.

Both, by choice. Absolutes, concretes, resinoids, CO2 extracts and reconstitutions work side by side in the same formula. We choose each material for its effect on skin, not for the origin on its label.

Every formula is IFRA-compliant at time of production. This is not "clean" perfume and does not claim to be. Full INCI lists are available for every fragrance. If your skin is sensitive, patch test before wearing.

We tint each composition to match its identity. The color builds from natural extracts, saffron and resins among them, plus selected colorants. Batches vary slightly, and we let them.

Eligible orders include a free sample vial alongside the sealed bottle. Wear the vial first. If the fragrance is not yours, the untouched bottle, still sealed, returns within 30 days.

The design caps the flacon diameter at 75 to 80mm, and mouth-blown glass varies from piece to piece, volume included. We announce the minimum you will receive, 45 or 90ml, rather than promise 55 or 100.

We ship worldwide from France and the Netherlands. France: free standard delivery in 2 to 3 days, express next-day at €8.90. European Union: free standard delivery in 7 to 14 days, with tracked and express options.

United States, Canada, Japan and Asia-Pacific: standard from €19.90, express from €29.90, complimentary express on qualifying orders. Rates for the United Kingdom, the Gulf and the rest of the world vary by destination. The exact cost shows at checkout before you pay.

Perfume is a sealed hygiene product: an unsealed bottle stays sold. This is why every full-size order ships with a free sample vial. Test the vial on skin before you break the seal. Send back a sealed bottle in its original packaging within 30 days for a full refund. To try several at once, take the Discovery Set.

Orders within the European Union include VAT: nothing more to pay on delivery. Outside the EU, your customs authority may charge import duties or taxes on arrival; each country sets its own. Write to us before ordering and we will help you estimate them.

Borosilicate glass takes impact and temperature swings far better than standard glass. Each parcel carries custom inserts and travels double-boxed. If a bottle arrives damaged all the same, send photos within 48 hours and we replace or refund it.

Your order dispatches within 2 to 3 business days. The confirmation email carries your tracking number the moment the parcel leaves. For anything else, email contact@premierepeau.com or call +33 1 88 24 41 62, Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 18:00 CET.
