Niche Perfume Discovery Set: 7 Extraits, 7 Days

Premiere Peau 3 min

A discovery set is not a commercial gesture. It is a proposition: seven days, seven extraits de parfum, your skin as the sole judge. No salesperson. No cardboard blotter. Just the juice, the skin, and time.

This is not a sample

Each 2 ml vial in the Discovery Set contains exactly the same juice as the 90 ml bottle. Same formula. Same 20% concentration. Same perfumer. Same maceration.

This is not a diluted version designed to tempt you. It is the full extrait, packaged in a format that fits in a jacket pocket. The difference between the 2 ml and the 90 ml is the glass — not what it contains.

The industry has trivialized the word "sample" to the point where you imagine a pale liquid in a plastic tube. What you hold in your hand is something else: a glass spray, dosed like a full bottle, that lets you experience the perfume on your skin for an entire day. It is the only test that matters: the perfume on your skin, over a full day.

The 7-day method

The set contains seven extraits. One per day. The order is not dogma, but this sequence makes sense: it starts with the most enveloping and ends with the sharpest.

Day 1 — Insuline Safrine
Greek saffron, Madagascar vanilla, Sri Lankan cinnamon. This is the densest perfume in the collection. Spray on the wrist in the morning. By noon, you will know if it is made for you: the buttery, woody base reveals itself after about three hours. By evening, the saffron will have shifted from cold metal to sweet leather — it is this trajectory that distinguishes the extrait.

Day 2 — Doppel Dancers
Double iris — French Pallida, Italian Florentina — laid on a toasted black sesame accord. The sillage is discreet, almost intimate. This is a perfume worn close to the body. Wait for the base: the sandalwood and amber change everything.

Day 3 — Albâtre Sépia
White truffle from Alba, ink, Planifolia vanilla. The vicuna accord — tonka and cashmeran — gives the base an almost textile texture. Somali frankincense on top, Indonesian patchouli as foundation.

Day 4 — Gravitas Capitale
Haitian vetiver and asphalt in the base, Primofiore lemon and Buddha's hand on top. This is an eau de cologne pushed to the extrait: the freshness remains, but it has weight. Green cardamom, tuberose, and frankincense at the heart.

Day 5 — Simili Mirage
A faux leather accord — simili, not tannery — on a bed of sea salt and French thyme. Sumatran benzoin and Croatian immortelle hold the base. This is the driest perfume in the collection.

Day 6 — Nuit Élastique
Indian jasmine sambac, Egyptian grandiflorum, Turkish rose. The broadest floral trio in the set, crossed by a latex and black olive accord. The latex gives the jasmine a rubbery elasticity found nowhere else. Grasse hay and Virginia cedar at the base.

Day 7 — Rose Monotone
Rose oxide, lychee, CO2 vetiver. The coldest of the seven, the sharpest.

Each day, spray on clean skin. One perfume per day only — not two. Let it live for eight hours. In the morning, before moving on to the next, note the one from the day before: did you forget it, or did it stay with you? The answer is always clear.

60 euros, refunded

The Discovery Set costs 60 EUR. This amount is fully deducted from any bottle purchase.

The math is simple. A 90 ml bottle costs 375 EUR. With the set credit: 375 - 60 = 315 EUR net. A 45 ml at 290 EUR goes down to 230 EUR.

This is not a discount coupon. It is a principle: the set is not a cost, it is a deposit. You only pay for the perfume once — when you know which one.

Seven worlds in brief

The Discovery Set is available. Seven extraits, seven days, one decision.
