Creative Works

Jasmine pulled into latex. Leather manufactured from salt and heat. Citrus driven against wet asphalt. Three perfumes built where beauty stops behaving.

Jasmine under tension

NUITELASTIQUE

By Ugo Charron

Black Olive • Carnation • Latex

Jasmine is pulled past bloom until it turns elastic. Black olive salts the white flower; carnation darkens the pulse. Latex holds the whole thing under tension, then snaps it back against the skin.

Leather without the animal

SIMILIMIRAGE

By Claire Liégent

Simili Leather • Maquis • Warm Sand

Leather is built from an illusion: a synthetic grain cured by sea salt, immortelle and dry maquis. Heat bends it toward sun-struck cardboard. Nothing animal. Still, it feels worn.

Citrus against asphalt

GRAVITASCAPITALE

By Grégoire Balleydier

Buddha's Hand • Shishito Green Chili • Asphalt

Buddha’s hand is stripped of brightness and set against shishito, green tuberose stem and wet asphalt. A cologne turned vertical, mineral and unsmiling.
