The Full Story

Delta-undecalactone (CAS 710-04-3) is an eleven-carbon delta-lactone. Creamy, waxy, peach-skin with coconut undertones. More persistent and waxier than delta-decalactone.

Sits between peachy-creamy shorter lactones and waxy-fatty longer chains. A smooth, rounded creaminess with base-note tenacity.

Anchors fruity-creamy compositions and adds lactonic warmth to skin-scent formulas.

Did You Know?

Did you know?
As lactone chain length increases, the scent shifts from fruity-creamy to waxy-fatty. Delta-undecalactone sits at the sweet spot: long enough for persistence, short enough to retain creaminess.
