The Full Story

Blood plasma is the liquid component of blood, minus the red cells. Its scent is faintly salty, warm, and organic -- less metallic than whole blood (which gets its iron smell from hemoglobin breakdown products). In perfumery, the plasma note is an avant-garde concept evoking biological intimacy, used in skin-like and animalic compositions.

This note in Première Peau. Gravitas Capitale. Sample all seven extraits in the Discovery Set.
