The Full Story

The sunscreen smell comes from UV-filtering chemicals (octinoxate, homosalate, octocrylene) interacting with coconut-derived fatty esters. The coconut provides the sweet tropical base; UV filters add a chemical-clean overlay.

The accord is deeply nostalgic: it triggers beach and summer memories with extraordinary consistency.

In perfumery, built from coconut lactones (gamma-nonalactone, delta-decalactone), benzyl salicylate (UV-filter adjacent), Monoi oil, and clean aldehydes.
