The Full Story

Paradisamide (CAS 406488-30-0, 2-ethyl-N-methyl-N-(3-methylphenyl)butyramide) delivers a powerful, long-lasting tropical fruit character: guava and passion fruit dominate, with grapefruit, rhubarb, and blackcurrant.

Unlike most fruity molecules, Paradisamide is notably persistent. It can be used at up to 20% in tropical fruit accords. This fills a gap: a fruity note with base-note persistence.

Most fruit molecules dissipate within hours. Paradisamide maintains tropical character through the dry-down.

Did You Know?

Did you know?
Most fruity molecules are esters with molecular weights under 200, making them volatile and short-lived. Paradisamide is an amide with higher molecular weight, explaining its persistence.
