The Full Story

Strawberry plant refers to the composite scent of the entire Fragaria plant: crown, stolons, leaves, small white flowers, and unripe green fruit. The dominant impression is green-vegetal with an earthy, soil-contact quality.

The white flowers contribute faint rosy sweetness. The green stolons add cis-3-hexenol freshness. The unripe fruit provides a tart, green-fruity note without furaneol sweetness.

In perfumery, this is a niche naturalistic note. It suggests the garden bed itself: soil, leaf, stem, flower, and the promise of fruit.
